This page explains what Stonaria does with information about
you. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

WHO WE ARE

Stonaria is a trading name of [REGISTERED COMPANY NAME], registered at

WHAT WE COLLECT, AND ONLY WHEN YOU GIVE IT

When you send an enquiry we keep your name, your email address, your
telephone number, whatever you write in the message, and — if you came from
a stone page or the Light Room — which stones you were looking at when you
wrote. That last one exists so the person who answers you already knows what
you meant.

If you hold an account, we keep your email address, your name, any delivery
address you save, your order history and anything you have saved to a
wishlist.

We record the network address your enquiry or sign-in came from. It is used
for one thing: to stop the same address flooding the form or guessing a
password. It is not used to profile you and it is not shared.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, your date of birth, your identity
documents or your payment card. Payment for an order is arranged directly
with you and does not pass through this website.

Two small cookies are needed for the site to work at all: one keeps you
signed in, and one protects forms against being submitted from somewhere
else. Neither follows you anywhere.

Google Analytics sets its own cookies to count visits and understand which
pages are read. If a Google advertising campaign is running, a second Google
tag records whether an advertisement led to an enquiry. Both are Google's,
governed by Google's privacy policy, and both can be refused with any browser
setting or extension that blocks them — the site works normally without them.

We set no advertising cookie of our own, and we run no third-party tracker
beyond Google.

WHO ELSE SEES IT

Nobody buys it, because it is not for sale, and nobody is sent it for
marketing. It reaches only the services that make the site run: our hosting
provider, Hetzner Online GmbH, on servers in the European Union; the mail
provider that carries our email; and Google, for the analytics described
above. Each holds it only to provide that service.

We will disclose information if a law or a court requires it, and we will
tell you when we are allowed to.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

An enquiry is kept while the conversation is open and for as long afterwards
as a client relationship makes it useful. An account is kept until you ask us
to remove it. The network addresses used for rate limiting are cleared on a
rolling basis and are not retained as a record of you.

WHAT YOU CAN ASK FOR

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete
it, and withdraw a consent you have given. Write to concierge@stonaria.com
and a person will answer. We will not make you use a form.

If we cannot resolve something between us, you may complain to the Data
Protection Board of India.

CHANGES

If this page changes materially, the change will be described here rather
than made quietly.
