Breccia Capraia

Marble

There are stones. And then there is Breccia Capraia — rare enough that finding two identical panels is close to impossible. It began as seabed — the compressed remains of ancient marine life settling in layers beneath Tuscany, Italy. Then came the heat, and the pressure, and the slow, patient rewriting of that seabed into marble. What you're left with is warm grey-beige breccia, angular clasts, warm the way sun-baked earth is warm, holding heat long after the sun has moved on, exactly as geology arranged it and not one degree different. This is genuinely limited material — not manufactured scarcity, geological scarcity — reserved for cladding or reception counters, the kind of surface that turns a space into an experience rather than a room.
