This isn't a stone you choose so much as a moment you inherit — Calacatta Viola, formed long before there was anyone around to name it. Under Carrara, Italy, buried far past where light or time usually reach, calcite crystals were forced to reorganise themselves, fusing into a stone dense enough to hold a polish and patient enough to have waited millions of years for someone to find it. Polished, it shows white ground with violet burgundy veining — bright enough to seem lit from the inside, even in ordinary daylight, a signature this exact stone will only ever wear once. This is not a stone you specify twice. What's available now will not be available indefinitely, which is exactly why it's reserved for feature walls, bar tops, or art panels — the one detail meant to be the reason people remember the room.
