Colorado Yule Marble

Marble

This isn't a stone you choose so much as a moment you inherit — Colorado Yule Marble, formed long before there was anyone around to name it. Limestone does not become marble by accident. It takes heat most rock never survives, and pressure measured not in force but in the sheer weight of time, until — deep beneath Colorado, USA — one kind of stone became another. Cut open, what waited inside was pure white, ultra-fine grain, monument grade: bright enough to seem lit from the inside, even in ordinary daylight. What's quarried this year won't necessarily be available next year in the same grade, which is why it's chosen for sculpture, memorials, or premium cladding — spaces meant to hold attention, not just fill it.
