Grey Onyx Onice Grigio
Global · Onyx
Formed as mineral-rich water moved slowly through limestone caves near Iran / Italy, depositing calcite in bands, one thin layer at a time. It is scarce enough that most who work in stone have only seen it in photographs. Cool, dense, and even underhand — a texture that feels deliberate rather than plain. Under bright light, cool grey translucent with white bands reveals a quiet depth most grey stone never shows. Chosen most often for backlit partitions and vanities, where its character has the space to be the whole point of the room.
