Location: Guangxi, China · Stone: Marble · Rarity: Rare Deep beneath Guangxi, China, mineral impurities were folded into recrystallising limestone as it became marble — the exact veining you see here is that folding, frozen in place. It is quiet, dependable rarity — the kind that rarely announces itself. Smooth and cool, almost soft to the touch despite its density. A bright light passed over white-grey with linear grey vein settles into it gently, without the glare a darker stone would throw back. Reserved for volume flooring and tiles — the details a project is remembered for long after the rest is forgotten.
