Location: Makrana, Rajasthan · Stone: Marble · Rarity: Very Rare Deep beneath Makrana, Rajasthan, mineral impurities were folded into recrystallising limestone as it became marble — the exact veining you see here is that folding, frozen in place. It is uncommon enough to be requested by name, not by category. Cool and faintly powdery underhand at first touch, then perfectly smooth once polished. Under bright light, white with faint grey vein, very dense seems to hold the glow rather than merely reflect it. Built for flooring and wall cladding — the surfaces a space is designed around, not simply finished with.
