Location: Makrana, Rajasthan · Stone: Marble · Rarity: Rare Deep beneath Makrana, Rajasthan, mineral impurities were folded into recrystallising limestone as it became marble — the exact veining you see here is that folding, frozen in place. It is uncommon enough that most collections never think to carry it. Cool and smooth underhand, softer in feel than its colour would suggest. Under bright light, soft pink with cream drift takes on a gentle translucence, glowing rather than gleaming. Reserved for heritage interiors — the details a project is remembered for long after the rest is forgotten.
