Marfil Iran
Marble
Location: Iran · Stone: Marble · Rarity: Rare This began as sediment on an ancient seabed near Iran, compressed and reheated over millions of years until its structure gave way and reformed as marble. It is uncommon enough that most collections never think to carry it. Underhand, it is cool, dense, and quietly reassuring. Lit well, cream-beige, Crema Marfil alternative brightens the whole room around it, rather than simply standing out within it. Chosen most often for volume flooring, where its character has the space to be the whole point of the room.
