Location: Iran · Stone: Marble · Rarity: Very Rare Somewhere beneath Iran, ordinary limestone met heat and pressure it could not resist, and did not stay limestone — it recrystallised, grain by grain, into something else entirely. It is the kind of material a good stone merchant sets aside before it is even listed. Smooth and cool, almost soft to the touch despite its density. A bright light passed over white with faint grey vein settles into it gently, without the glare a darker stone would throw back. Belongs on flooring and cladding — the kind of application that gives a material like this room to be seen properly.
