Formed as mineral-rich water moved slowly through limestone caves near Iran / Pakistan, depositing calcite in bands, one thin layer at a time. It is scarce enough to be spoken of before it is seen. Cool and dense underhand, with a texture that feels entirely honest — nothing smoothed over to hide what it is. Under bright light, multicolour translucent banding reveals warmth most people don't expect from stone. Built for backlit feature panels and ceilings — the surfaces a space is designed around, not simply finished with.
