Onice Fantastico

Marble

There is no shortcut to Onice Fantastico. There never was. Only time, pressure, and Italy / Iran, working without an audience. Somewhere beneath Italy / Iran, the earth spent millions of years doing something almost nobody sees happen: turning soft, ordinary sediment into a dense, crystalline surface that would outlast every hand that ever touched it. The surface that emerges is translucent multicolour banding, backlit-grade, a pattern that reads less like decoration and more like a record of everything that made it — a pattern no one designed and no one could replicate. Rare enough to matter, available enough to build with — this is the stone for backlit walls, bar fronts, or ceilings, the detail a space is designed around rather than finished with.
