Grown inside underground caverns near Pakistan, where dripping, mineral-laden water built this banding the way a candle builds wax, one pass at a time. It is uncommon enough to be requested by name, not by category. Cool and faintly powdery underhand at first touch, then perfectly smooth once polished. Under bright light, ivory with soft translucent bands seems to hold the glow rather than merely reflect it. Suited to backlit panels and tiles, the places where a single surface is allowed to carry an entire room.
