Rainforest Brown
India · Marble
Location: Rajasthan · Stone: Marble · Rarity: Very Rare Somewhere beneath Rajasthan, ordinary limestone met heat and pressure it could not resist, and did not stay limestone — it recrystallised, grain by grain, into something else entirely. It is the kind of material a good stone merchant sets aside before it is even listed. Smooth and cool, almost soft to the touch despite its density. A bright light passed over brown with dendritic cream branching settles into it gently, without the glare a darker stone would throw back. Suited to feature walls and tabletops, the places where a single surface is allowed to carry an entire room.
