Location: Vermont, USA · Stone: Marble · Rarity: Exceptionally Rare Deep beneath Vermont, USA, mineral impurities were folded into recrystallising limestone as it became marble — the exact veining you see here is that folding, frozen in place. It is rare enough that entire years pass between finds. Smooth and cool, almost soft to the touch despite its density. A bright light passed over white with soft grey vein, low porosity settles into it gently, without the glare a darker stone would throw back. Reserved for flooring and wet areas — the details a project is remembered for long after the rest is forgotten.
