Location: Vietnam · Stone: Marble · Rarity: Rare Somewhere beneath Vietnam, ordinary limestone met heat and pressure it could not resist, and did not stay limestone — it recrystallised, grain by grain, into something else entirely. It is uncommon enough that most collections never think to carry it. Smooth to the touch, with a composed, unhurried weight. A bright light drawn across mid grey with white vein brings out tones that stay hidden in ordinary daylight. Chosen most often for flooring, where its character has the space to be the whole point of the room.
