Silica in its purest form, crystallised slowly and cleanly enough to remain entirely clear — a rarer outcome for quartz than colour ever is. It is scarce enough to be spoken of before it is seen. Smooth and cool, almost soft to the touch despite its density. A bright light passed over clear-white crystal, strong backlit glow settles into it gently, without the glare a darker stone would throw back. At home on backlit walls and bar tops, exactly where a room asks to be noticed rather than merely completed.
